The
Cleveland Electrical Joint Apprenticeship and Training Committee
(CEJATC) unveiled its $1.2 million renovation and addition
with a gala press conference and rededication event, which
featured International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers President
Edwin D. Hill. With assistance from BMA Media Group with the
planning and coordination, the event included four speakers,
including President Hill; a formal ribbon cutting; tours of
the 8,500-square-foot renovation and addition, including the
four new classrooms and new state-of-the-art hands-on BICSI-certified
telecommunications lab; and press coverage.
To
make the event a success, CEJATC used BMA Media Group to plan
the catered reception and send out invitations for guests,
which numbered about 200. To make the event even more special,
it included a stage with plasma screens and full audio, video
and lighting – none of which CEJATC had to worry about with
BMA behind the scenes.

Ironworkers
Local 55 in Toledo enjoyed a spectacular night out to mark
its 100th anniversary.

Turning
100 years old is no small thing, so when Ironworkers Local 55
hit the milestone, it wanted a celebration marking the anniversary
to be done right – just right. Nothing short of a gala
sit-down dinner at the Seagate Convention Center in Toledo for
about 1,000 guests, including the mayor of Toledo and local congressmen
and women, would do. Well, that and a replica of the Maumee River
Crossing Bridge on which guests would cross into the banquet
room.
To
span the monumental logistics of throwing such an epic event,
Local 55 used BMA Media Group to help with everything from conception
to cleanup – and a 100th anniversary video documentary guests
could enjoy through the evening. Invitations, staging and catering
were all the concern of BMA, so Local 55 could just sit back
and enjoy.
And
BMA Media Group even created and produced a 100th anniversary
commemorative program, complete with advertising it sold.
