Insulation Industry International Apprentice and Training Fund

Promotion and Recruitment

The Insulation Industry International Apprentice and Training Fund (IIIATF) works hard to meet the needs of an industry that is constantly changing. While providing all apprentices with state-of-the-art equipment to train, insulators will all be receiving the same training. IIIATF's primary goal is to acknowledge that there are women that work in the insulation industry and more are welcome.

This campaign used to recruit and promote women in the insulation industry included:

Piping Industry

United Association Local 50

Industry Promotion

Northwest Ohio contains a diverse population, as people from varying backgrounds – including race, gender and ethnicity – call the area home. The Piping Industry, an industry focused brand for United Association Local 50, proudly conducts outreach programs to the area’s minority populations, helping educate them on career opportunities within the piping trades.

For this campaign, BMA Media Group developed the following LaborTools:

Cleveland Building Trades

Recruitment and Organization Promotion

Through community outreach, the Cleveland Building Trades have worked to recruit a diverse workforce that reflects the racial, ethnic and gender make-up of the people of Cleveland and their suburbs. This diverse video, which was produced by BMA, shows the Cleveland Building and Construction Trades Council’s commitment to making diversity and inclusion one of their primary objectives.

This campaign included:

School Campaign for Work

Insulators Local 50

Industry Promotion

Insulators Local 50 approached BMA Media Group, asking them if they would spearhead a campaign to gain mechanical insulation work for a new construction project in a nearby school district.

To make sure they achieved what they wanted, BMA implemented a multi-faceted campaign focused on securing the work and showing the value of mechanical insulation to the public in a clear way. The campaign included many marketing items, such as:

Detailed industry video to strengthen brand
Comprehensive research binder
Campaign presentations to school and facility committees
On-site banners
Digital advertisements

Months after the campaign was launched, it proved successful, as mechanical insulation will be included in the construction project, and that the work will go to a union contractor. Since then, this campaign has turned several jobs in the area.
