Formed in 1890, Local 50 of the The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry has been around longer than eight states, so it is LaborTools' honor to help such a longstanding institution celebrate their 125th anniversary. ## More than a Union event This month, LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group signed an agreement with Toledo, Ohio's UA Local 50 to produce its anniversary celebration event, to be held May 16, 2015 at Owens Community College. In addition to an evening event filled with dinner and dancing, the day's festivities will also include an open house in the afternoon for targeted guests in the construction industry, end users, school officials, the media and much more at the Local's state-of-the-art Piping Industry Training Center.  LaborTools will be fully producing both of these events from start to finish - from invitations to staging and lighting, and everything in between. As the saying goes, do something you love and you will never have to work another day in your life. Producing events for unions across the country is not only fun and exciting, but a privilege that we take very seriously. We are fortunate to be trusted with the responsibility to work with our clients on these prestigious, once in a lifetime events. One of my favorite aspects of the job is working creatively with great union leaders and their committees to help them design an event that matches and exceeds the expectations of them and their membership.
