United Association Local joins together, celebrating milestone event

It was two times the celebration on Saturday, May 16, as LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group celebrated our 20th union celebratory event nationwide with the 125th Anniversary of Toledo’s UA Local 50.

More than 900 Local 50 members, retirees, local dignitaries and guests filled the Student Health and Activities Center of Owens Community College for a night of dinner and dancing in commemoration of the many generations of the Local.

The anniversary event highlighted the union’s history and past accomplishments while also looking ahead to many more years of continuing to improve the piping industry and the communities across Toledo and Northwest Ohio.

The evening’s program also featured several guest speakers experienced with Local 50’s impact on the region, including U.S. Representative Marcy Kaptur, Toledo Mayor Paula Hicks-Hudson, and Toledo City Council President Steven Steel.

To honor the Local’s storied history and bright future, LaborTools produced a commemorative program book for guests to take home. We are also producing a commemorative video featuring the past, present and future of Local 50, including footage we shot during the 125th anniversary event.

“Producing events for unions across the country is not only fun and exciting, but a privilege that we take very seriously,” says LaborTools Vice President Ray Liptak. “You are only as good as your last event, so we push hard to impress with every one and know that our clients expect only the best from us.”

LaborTools produces and constructs audience-captivating sights and sounds that have been praised by union leaders and their attendees at every event we have produced nationwide for over 20 years. Whether you are celebrating an anniversary of your organization or hosting a meeting or large conference, let us help you produce an event to remember.
