For more than 50 years, the Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council has tirelessly advocated for employment opportunities possible by joining any of its affiliated unions in the building trades. 

For decades, the cornerstone of member communication for the Heat and Frost Insulators and Allied Workers has been a quarterly print publication known as  “The Insulators Journal.” The International Union packs a wide variety of information into the glossy magazine that is mailed to all members in both the U.S. and Canada.

Twenty years ago, you could throw a list of services and a phone number on a one-page, static website and consider your business/organization to have an online presence. But over time, as we have increasingly turned to the internet as our first — and usually only — method of gathering information, we have also had to dynamically transform the way we assess a website’s value.

The Mechanical Insulators Labor Management Cooperative Trust is a collaboration between the Heat and Frost Insulators Union and the Mechanical Insulation and Firestopping industry contractors. 

With the help of a redesigned, mobile-friendly website, IBEW Local 743 has found more effective and affordable ways to communicate with its members.

Throughout the past year and a half, the Columbus/Central Ohio Building and Construction Trades Council has turned to BMA Media Group to help them purchase customized American made, union made merchandise to promote their brand awareness. 

With the help of a new, mobile-friendly and fully functional website, LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group was able to help IBEW Local 743 improve communication with their members.
