Running a local union in the south is a difficult task, but IBEW Local 613’s new website proves they are up to the challenge.

Local 613 manages a jurisdiction of over 58 counties throughout two states, Georgia and Alabama. As a result, communicating well with all of the Local’s members is critical. The newly designed website, built on the HubSpot platform, enables IBEW 613 to deliver important messages to its members, effectively and quickly, despite the geographical expanse of the local’s jurisdiction.

Frequently, members are greeted by invitations to sign-up and pay online for events such as Bass Tournaments or Motorcycle Rides, all designed to strengthen the brotherhood and sisterhood of IBEW 613. Members can navigate directly to the online sign-up forms and payment portals on the website homepage. In addition, the new site creates opportunities for the Local to promote new merchandise representing the Georgia lifestyle in conjunction with IBEW 613. The online store can be accessed via the main navigation of 613’s website.

Members receive communication from their union hall through e-mails created via the HubSpot platform. E-mails are designed, written, and sent with ease through the expansive capabilities the new website offers. The e-mails are often used to deliver messages affecting each member of the Local including wage rates, health and safety updates, or other important news.

The calendar function of the site fosters awareness for members to participate in any upcoming meetings, training, or events that Local 613 is hosting. The website also features a Contractor search function for members, management, or other organizations seeking to find information regarding IBEW Local 613 Signatory Contractors.

With a powerful new website at its disposal, IBEW Local 613 is ready to fight for its members and promote the value of Organized Construction Labor.
