It was Saturday, April 29th, 2023, when BMA Media Group lit up Warren, Ohio, for the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 573. The Local was celebrating its 100th Anniversary in the ballroom of the Eastwood Event Center in Niles, where everyone enjoyed the gala in honor of ten decades of hard work and dedication by the union’s members.
Nearly 600 members, contractors, public officials, and guests attended the event enjoying cocktails and hors d'Oeuvres while awaiting the dinner and entertainment with eager anticipation. Some of the evening’s speakers included Local 573’s Business Manager and Financial Secretary, Todd Ambrose and Gina Cooper, the 4th District International Vice-President, who gave moving presentations. The keynote speaker was the IBEW International President, Kenneth Cooper, whose keen knowledge of the Mahoning Valley and powerful delivery truly gave the attendees something to remember.
BMA also engaged a well-known Pittsburgh group called “The Company Band” to entertain guests and they kept everyone on their feet for hours as BMA Media’s production crew provided the stage, sound and lights that dazzled all!
Each guest was gifted a stainless steel water bottle and rocks glasses with the IBEW 573 100th Anniversary logo embedded in them.
