LaborTools recently traveled to the west coast to produce a completely turn-key event commemorating the 100th anniversary of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 332 of San Jose, California.

Following the overwhelming success of last year’s program collaboration, the Lakeland Foundation contracted LaborTools to produce their signature “IMAGINE” event on September 21. From planning and event decor to audio and video production, LaborTools had a hand in every stage of the process that led the "Roaring 20s Speakeasy" themed night to be a great success and help raise funds for Lakeland Community College.

The International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 82 of Dayton, Ohio recently celebrated its 100th Anniversary and to ensure the celebration was something the members, retirees and honored guests would never forget, LaborTools was called in to plan the entire event. LaborTools handled all aspects of the event including staging, audio and video, as well as entertainment, location selection and commemorative gifts. All attendees and union members will also receive a commemorative DVD and book chronicling Local 82’s unique history. There were roughly 1,000 attendees in attendance at the 100th anniversary. 

When the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 540 (Canton, OH) decided to celebrate its 100^th anniversary, they knew it had to be a celebration worthy of the longstanding history and accomplishments.  That is why IBEW Local 540 decided to work with LaborTools - to create a one-of-a-kind, top-tier event complete with entertainment, food, drinks and camaraderie.

With over twenty celebratory event productions for local unions across America under our belt, there are no signs of slowing down for the events team of LaborTools powered by BMA Media Group.

While we love being able to explore new places and produce events across the country, there is always something special about being able to celebrate an organization in our own backyard.

Formed in 1890, Local 50 of the The United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices of the Plumbing and Pipefitting Industry has been around longer than eight states, so it is LaborTools' honor to help such a longstanding institution celebrate their 125th anniversary.

It’s great when we are able to execute a public relations campaign for a client and then able to quickly witness the positive results we had hoped to achieve.

The positive media coverage we have helped the United Association of Plumbers, Steamfitters and Service Mechanics Local 50 generate has been quite rewarding.
