Working to secure the future of your union can be very intimidating.

When the United Association International Training Fund decided they needed to address their future through a focus on recruiting HVACR apprentices, they turned to BMA Media Group to create powerful videos that would capture the attention of today’s young adults and get them to think about a career in the HVACR industry.

Our staff spent hours analyzing recruitment issues the UA was currently facing and interviewed a wide range of individuals associated with HVACR to establish a concept outline. From there, our experts skillfully wrote a script focused on gaining the attention of young adults and getting them to see themselves as one of the skilled HVACR technicians we portrayed in the video.

Once the groundwork was laid out, our award-winning video production staff went to work.

After securing some amazing venues to work in, it was time to bring out the cameras.Using some of the newest technology on the market - such as the Canon EOS C300 Cinema Camera, Mövi Stabilizer, and Kessler Phillip Bloom Pocket Dolly - we shot all the footage needed to educate and encourage the UA ITF's targeted audience. The goal while shooting was to use techniques for each shot that would give this piece a smooth, cinematic feeling.

Boilers and HVAC equipment can easily blend into the background. Our small, but efficient crew made the most out of our time on location and came away with clean looking pieces that had an almost science fiction look.

Back in our fully in-house studio, the material was edited using state-of-the-art equipment and programs - including Adobe Premiere, Graphics in After Effects, and Cinema 4D - to achieve a visually impressive outcome that our clients have come to expect.

The results simply speak for themselves – a video that dares to suggest, “You see more.” It challenges the viewer to think about why something is the way it is. We took a commonly overlooked item, such as a ventilation system, and made it the hero of the buildings innerworking.

Don’t go by our word though, look for yourself:
